High School and Intermediate exam results were declared on Saturday under the UP Board Examination. In the high school, Yash Pandey, a student of Pratap Narayan Mishra Inter College, Raja Fettipur Tiloi, has topped the district with 91.50 marks. While in Intermediate Shri Shiv Pratap Inter College Amethi's Sumit Mishra has secured first position in the district with 87.40 marks. Private schools, rather than government schools, dominated the test results.
In the results declared on Saturday, 81.58 percent of the students appeared in the high school examination while 86.85 percent of the students passed. At the same time, 70.19 percent students have passed in intermediate while 87.36 percent students have passed. In both high school and inter, the first place was occupied by boys while the second place was occupied by girls. The high school was dominated by Pratap Narayan Mishra Memorial Inter College Fatepur of Tiloi. The first and fourth places were named after this school. Whereas in the intermediate results, Shri Shiv Pratap Inter College of Amethi occupied the first and fourth positions.

Vidya Mandir, Ashok Singh Inca, MJS and Hanuman Inter College dominated in Gauriganj
Private schools dominated the results in the schools of Gauriganj. Srishti Tiwari of Ashok Singh Inter College got the fifth position in the high school while Mahek Soni of MJS Green Valley Public School got the fifth position. While Anjali Tripathi of Shivnayak Singh Saraswati Vidya Mandir in Inter has got fifth and Gaurav Mishra has secured sixth position. Two students from Hanuman Inter College Kamalnagar made it to the merit list in Intermediate.

The result of Shivnayak Singh Saraswati Vidya Mandir was 100 percent. Principal Subhash Chandra Tripathi honored the students who made it to the merit list of the district by garlanding them, applying vaccines and feeding them sweets. Many people including Awadh Naresh Tiwari, Rajkishore Yadav, Pradeep Yadav, Suresh Srivastava were present on the occasion. Meanwhile, the manager of MJS Green Valley Public School, Mansaram Maurya, greeted the students who got the examination, by feeding them sweet.
