What is network Topology ? 

Network Topology- 

टोपोलॉजी में कंप्यूटर जोड़ने का एक तरीका है। प्रत्येक कंप्यूटर को टोपोलॉजी, नोड या लिंक स्टेशन कहा जाता है। दूसरे शब्दों में, टोपोलॉजी नेटवर्क में कंप्यूटर कनेक्ट करने की भौगोलिक प्रणाली होती है। इसके माध्यम से, विभिन्न कंप्यूटर एक दूसरे से जुड़े जा सकते हैं। नेटवर्क टोपोलॉजी निम्न प्रकारों में से है: --

Topology has a way of adding computers. Each computer is called a topology, node, or link station. In other words, topology networks have a geographical system of connecting computers. Through this, different computers can be connected to each other. Network topology is of the following types: -

1. बस टोपोलॉजी (Bus Topology)

इस टोपोलॉजी में एक लम्बे केबल से युक्तियाँ जुडी होती हैंl। इस प्रकार के नेटवर्क टोपोलॉजी का उपयोग उस स्थान पर किया जाता है जहां सीमित क्षेत्र में उच्च गति संचार चैनल का उपयोग किया जाता है। लेकिन अगर संचार चैनल खराब हो जाता है तो पूरा नेटवर्क क्षतिग्रस्त हो जाता है।


1. Bus Topology


In this topology, the tips are connected to a long cable. This type of network topology is used at a location where high speed communication channels are used in a limited area. But if the communication channel is damaged then the entire network is damaged.

2. स्टार टोपोलॉजी (Star Topology)

इस टोपोलॉजी के अन्तर्गत एक होस्ट कम्प्यूटर होता है, जिससे विभिन्न लोकल कम्प्यूटर (नोड) को सीधे जोड़ा जाता है। यह होस्ट कम्प्यूटर हब कहलाता है। इस हब के फेल होने से पूरा नेटवर्क फेल हो सकता है। अगर इस नेटवर्क में कोई भी दिकत होता है तो पूरा नेटवर्क का कनेक्शन टूट जाता है 

2. Star Topology In English 

Under this topology, there is a host computer, to which various local computers (nodes) are directly connected. It is called Host Computer Hub. Failure of this hub may cause the entire network to fail. If there is any issue in this network then the connection of the entire network is lost.

3. रिंग टोपोलॉजी (Ring Topology) 

इस टोपोलॉजी में कोई हब या एक लम्बी केबल नहीं होतीl सभी कम्प्यूटर एक गोलाकार आकृति के रूप में केबल द्वारा जुड़े होते हैंl प्रत्येक कम्प्यूटर अपने अधीनस्थ कम्प्यूटर से जुड़ा होता हैl इनमे से कोई भी नेटवर्क यदि ख़राब हो जाता है तो पूरा नेटवर्क का कनेक्शन टूट जाता है  यह गोलाकार आकृति सर्कुलर नेटवर्क भी कहलाती है। 

      

3. Ring Topology In English 

There is no hub or a long cable in this topology. All the computers are connected by cable in the form of a circular shape. Each computer is connected to its subordinate computer. If any of these networks gets damaged then the entire network connection is lost. This circular shape is also called a circular network.

4. मैश टोपोलॉजी (Mesh Topology)

इस टोपोलॉजी का प्रत्येक कम्प्यूटर, नेटवर्क में जुड़े अन्य सभी कम्प्यूटरों से सीधे क्रम में  जुड़ा होता है। इसी कारण से इसे  (Point –to –Point) नेटवर्क या (Completely Connected) कम्प्लेटली नेटवर्क भी कहा जाता है। इसमें डेटा के आदान-प्रदान का प्रत्येक निर्णय कम्प्यूटर स्वयं ही लेता है।

4. Mesh Topology In English 

Each computer in this topology is directly connected to all other computers in the network in sequence. For this reason, it is also called a Point –to –Point network or (Completely Connected) Complete Network. In this, every decision to exchange data is taken by the computer itself.

5. ट्री टोपोलॉजी (Tree Topology)

इस टोपोलॉजी में एक नोड से दूसरी नोड तथा दूसरी नोड से तीसरी नोड, किसी पेड़ की शाखाओं की तरह जुड़ी होती हैं। इसलिए इसको टी ट्रोपोलोजी कहा  जाता है । ट्री टोपोलॉजी, स्टार टोपोलॉजी का ही विकृत रूप है। इस टोपोलॉजी में रूट (Root)  नोड सर्वर की तरह कार्य करता है।  इसमें यदि एक का बिच से टूटता है तो दूसरा भी चल सकता है। 

5. Tree Topology in English

In this topology, one node to another node and another node to the third node are connected like branches of a tree. Therefore, it is called T Topology. Tree topology is a distorted form of star topology. In this topology, the root (Root) node acts as a server. In this, if one breaks from the middle, the other can also move.
